What’s required of the nominee, if chosen, to be a Grand Marshal?

Grand Marshals are an advocate for Austin PRIDE and must be available Saturday, August 20, 2022 to participate in the Austin PRIDE 2022 Parade.

Can I nominate a previous Grand Marshal again?

Yes! However, a person cannot be recognized for the same contributions as originally honored. If the individual(s) contributed to the LGBTQ community in a different capacity since being selected as a Grand Marshal, then their nomination will be considered.
