Non-profit organizations utilize Austin PRIDE to educate, resource, and connect with thousands of prospective clients and volunteers, including AIDS Services of Austin and Austin Travis County Integral Care who both set single day records for the number of people who received HIV screenings at the Festival.
Austin PRIDE also reached another milestone, in 2016 we became the largest single day event based on attendance, larger than Austin City Limits Music Festival (75,000 per day) and SXSW (285,000), two of the largest events in Austin, TX.
TAPF relies on sponsorship by businesses and individuals like PDF and you to help offset the costs associated with producing Austin PRIDE and to help keep participation fees for non- profit organizations affordable.
