About Us
Q: What is the date of Austin Pride Festival and Parade?
A: Saturday, August 13, 2022
Q: How many people do you anticipate attending the festival and parade?
A: Over 10,000 – 15,000 projected attendees for the Austin Pride Festival and over 400,000 projected attendees for the Austin Pride Parade.
Q: What makes Austin Pride different?
A: Austin Pride is an entertainment Pride event with 2 stages and 35 local and 20 major headline acts.
Q: Do you all have other events before the festival and parade?
A: Austin Pride week starts on the Saturday before the Austin Festival and Pride Parade with one event every day until the day of the festival and parade.
Q: Are the Festival and Parade on the same day?
A: Traditionally, they both take place on a Saturday, the Austin Pride Festival is 11:00AM – 6:00PM CST at Fiesta Gardens and the Austin Pride Parade kicks off from 15th and San Jacinto at approx. 8:00PM – 11:00PM CST.
Q: How many Sponsors do you have?
A: We typically have 30-40 Sponsors.
Q: How many Festival vendor and Parade entries do you have?
A: We have 140+ Festival vendor booths and approximately 130 Parade entries with 35,000 participants.
Q: How many sponsorship underwriting opportunities do you have?
A: Underwriting opportunities are limited to five total. Sponsorship levels Orange or higher may select one underwriting opportunity of their choice.
Mandatory Registration for Festival and/or Parade
Q: How do I complete the mandatory online registration requirement for the festival and/or parade?
A: Go to our home page at www.austinpride.org and select the registration link to login or create an account.
Q: Is my entry and placement for the festival and/or parade guaranteed after I’ve paid in full?
A: No. entry and placement are NOT guaranteed. Entry and placement is subject to availability at the time full payment is received AND registration is completed. We strongly advise Sponsors register as soon as possible to ensure they receive their full benefits.
Festival and Parade Details
Q: How many people can I bring to work the festival booth?
A: No limit as long as each individual presents a GA ticket or VIP wristband for entry. One ticket or wristband per person.
Q: What is included with a Festival Exhibitor space?
A: Festival Exhibitor space includes a tent (10Wx 10L x 8H) with one (1) 6ft table, 2 folding chairs, 2 General Admission tickets and electricity. Yellow Level Sponsorship packages or higher include 2 booths.
Q: Do all sponsorship packages include both festival and parade entry?
A: No, Purple Level sponsorships receive complimentary festival or parade but not both. Refer to Sponsorship benefits chart for full details.
Q: How many people are we permitted to have participate in our entry parade?
A: Up to 150 people based on parade contingency selected
Q: How many floats or vehicles can we bring with us for our parade entry?
A: There are 4 types of Parade contingencies options available (subject to availability at time of registration)
Float/Large Truck – allowing for 1 float and/or 1 large truck and up to 150 people
Vehicle – allows for a maximum of 3 vehicles only with NO walkers.
Walking – allowing for 1 walking group up to 150 people and NO vehicle
Walking with Vehicles – 1 vehicle with a walking group of up to 150 people.
Refunds, Payment, Mailing Address
Q: Do you offer refunds, replacements, or exchanges?
A: No, refunds, replacements or exchanges permitted. The ticket user bears all risks, including cancellation of the event and of inclement weather. All transactions are final.
