Join Qmmunity for The Austin Chronicle’s Summer of Pride Party, presented in partnership with Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Austin Pride, and The Blanton Museum of Art!

Enjoy complimentary bites from El Alma Cafe, music by GirlFriend ATX, treats from Lick Honest Ice Creams, drinks by Treaty Oak Distilling, Circle Brewing Company and Rambler. Also by RSVPing you’ll have a chance to win prizes and the opportunity to explore the new exhibition “Jeffrey Gibson: This Is the Day.”

In This Is the Day, Gibson draws on his queer identity and Cherokee and Choctaw heritage to make exuberant works that celebrate and explore identity. Weaving together references to drag and ball culture, high fashion, Native American forms, and pop culture, Gibson creates powerful assertions of inclusivity.

Free Admission with RSVP, must be 21 and up to enter.

Paid parking is available for $4 in Brazos Garage (Brazos & MLK Jr. Blvd.). You must bring your parking ticket to the museum for validation.
